At baCta, we are reimagining industrial biotechnology for a more sustainable future. One of our strategic R&D ambitions is the development of microbial strains capable of producing natural rubber (polyisoprene) through fermentation, as an alternative to traditional extraction from rubber trees or synthetic rubber production from oil.

Your mission will be to contribute to the development and optimization of our extraction and analytical pipeline for polyisoprene produced by engineered microorganisms. This process is key to evaluating the impact of strain engineering and fermentation strategies on natural rubber production.
